So Called Friends started in 1994 as the first fanclub for the Scottish band TEXAS. The club became the official fanclub for the band and with many members from all around the world and in 1998 completely changed into a mainly Internet based fanclub.
Not much lately; The fanclub hosts this website and two mailing lists on the Internet (currently hosted by yahoogroups.com);
One mailing list for everyone to share news and information about texas and
the other as a discussion list.

Membership of the fanclub is free of charge.
Just join the club; there is NO need to fill out the registration form;
just participate on the mailinglists.
